Greisinger. Company History.

Rented premises 1984-1987.	With combined effort... The story of Greisinger´s is a story of success. It all began in 1982 with a meat department in a super market in Gallneukirchen. 1984 start with a own production.
Production building 1987-1994.	First Extension Through entrepreneurial spirit and commitment, the company was able to erect its own production facility in Freistadt as early as 1987.
New production plant in Münzbach in 1994.	A solid family-run enterprise Regardless of the steady growth the still family-run enterprise serves its customers with the same enthusiasm as when the company was founded.
Latest extension in  2007	The modern production plant had been erected in 1994, extended to 20,000 m², and is located in the beautiful farming region of the Mühlviertel.

Chronology of Company Development:

1982 - Foundation
Foundation of the company and takeover of the delicatessen section of a supermarket in Gallneukirchen (Upper Austria).

1984-1987 - Renting
Lease of a production site in Freistadt and development of a branch network.

1987 - New Production Site
Move to the new production site in Freistadt.

1988-1990 - Sales Organisation
Supply to retailers and marketing development.

1990-1992 - Extension
Extension of production site in Freistadt and structuring of export markets.

1993-1994 - Planning of Relocation
Planning of a new production plant in Muenzbach and start of construction work. Increase in export activities in the middle and Far East. Development of marketing concepts for Russia.

1995 - New Site
Opening of the new production plant in Muenzbach, district Perg, Upper Austria. Increase in sales activities in the EU, East Europe and Oversea.

1996-1998 - Increase of Export Share
First listing successes in Germany and Great Britain. Export sales increase of 22%.

1999-2000 - Site Extension
Sales increase to € 49 millions (+17% compared to the year before). Site extension by 2,000 m² to 13,000 m². Winner of the Austrian Export Prize 1999. Export rate of about 30%.

2001-2002 - Further Extension
A total turnover of €52 million for the financial year 2001. Extension of national and international sales structures. Plans for the further extension of the production plant in Muenzbach.

2003 - Start of Building Process
Total turnover of € 56 millions. At the end of 2003 site extension by 3,000 m² to 16,000 m² in Muenzbach.

2004 - Finish of Site Extension and Market Offence
The new site extension finished at the end of May, 2004. Increase of sales activities in Germany. Total turnover of € 71.1 millions.

2005 - Increase of Turnover
Increase of export sales activities and planned turnover of € 79,1 millions.

2006 - Building Extension
Put into operation a 1.000 m² building extension.
Because of the company activities the total turnover amounts to € 85,9 millions.

2007 - Extension
Extension of the production area to a total of 20.000 m².

2008/09 - Upgrading of export activities
Upgrading our export activities - total turnover € 95,3 millions.
